$38,398.56 Cheque Presented to Te Omanga Hospice

It was a thrill to present Te Omanga Hospice with a $38,398.56 cheque yesterday. The money was raised from the auctioning of Colin the T-Rex. We are so proud of the hard work everyone put into the design, fabrication, transport, display, and promotion this project β€” what a great result!

A Prehistoric Beast is Born in Upper Hutt!

A life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex of Swedish descent is born.

His name is Colin, he's made of Swedish steel, is 12.6m long. Colin was built by Macaulay Metals and Real Steel for display at the HighLight: Carnival of Lights festival during Labour Weekend 2018.

Colin is being auctioned off with all proceeds donated to charity partner Te Omanga Hospice.
